FormoEd
Fast form filling utility. Automates process of filling the repetitive forms.
Works with Internet forms as well as with desktop applications.
Introduction
Are you tired of filling the same forms over and over? FormoEd is here to help you.
Just create a set of most common items you usually submit, i.e. name, address, zip code
phone number, etc. and you'll never have to type it again. Even more - create separate
groups for most used forms and you'll fill them with the single mouse click.
How it works
Adding new group
When you run your program for the first time - its workspace is empty. Right-click on it
and select "Add Group" from pop-up menu. New group will be created. You can
change its name or leave it as is. In our case we'll rename it to "Main Info".
Adding new item
After you created group you can add items to it. Right-click on group name and select
"Add Item" from pop-up menu. New item will be created. Change its name to
whatever information you want to submit, for example to "John". Create few more
items like "Smith", "1-800-CALL-NOW", "New York",
"NY", etc. You're ready to rock-n-roll!
Attaching multiline or large text to item
Right-click on item name and select "Attach Text" from pop-up menu. Text box
will show up. Enter the text you want and close text box. Item picture will change. Now if
you double-click on that item - attached text will be sent instead of item caption.
Sending items to form
Find the form you'd like to fill out. If you don't have any on you computer - start your
web browser and go to Internet, there are millions of forms waiting for you. Click on the
field you want to fill (for example "First Name") and double-click on
corresponding item in FormoEd (that would be "John"). That's it. Select next
field ("Last Name") - double-click on next item ("Smith"). And so on.
Isn't that easy?
Automatic move to next field
Right-click on empty space in FormoEd. From pop-up menu select "Options" then
"Move To Next". Now, every time you send item from FormoEd to your form, cursor
will automatically move to next field.
Autoreplace pre-existing text
What if there already is text in the field you want to fill out? Go to pop-up menu, select
"Options" then "Replace Text" .From now everything that was in field
will be replaced with your text.
Sending entire group
When you have items in FormoEd group in exactly the same order as fields on the form -
select first field on the form, right-click on the FormoEd group name and select
"Send Group" from pop-up menu. That will populate all the fields in your form!
